Originally from Boston, MA, Sonny Mone started
developing his unique writing and playing style
performing in the New England club and coffee
house circuit.After relocating to Southern California,
he caught the attention of Crazy Horse,
the band best known for their
collaboration with Neil Young.
Mone went on to write, record, and perform
with members of Crazy Horse, as a singer
and guitarist. His work with them resulted
in memorable live performances, film soundtracks,
the CD "Left For Dead", and numerous other
studio projects with fellow Crazy Horse alumni.
Recently, Sonny Mone has begun to develop music for film and television. He is working in the studio with musicians like Dean Dinning from Toad the Wet Sprocket and Victor Bisetti from Los Lobos. They have place the song "The Less You Say" in the film "The Still Life" by Joel Miller which has been released by Warner Bros. The song is also on "The Still Life" Soundtrack along with songs by Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish) and Dizzie Reed (Guns & Roses).
